Imagine if the rear could be unbolted. Legs dropped and then driven forward. Releasing the bed. Then reversing into a camper bed conversion. Or a drop trailer with winch. Multi-beds for the person who wants everything, but only has one vehicle. Multi-beds Custom Conversions

No this is a genuine production vehicle, all be it very shortlived. The Matador then took on a watercooled engine and new cab design in 1953, which if you follow the history through eventually became Mercedes Trucks. Lots of interesting history surrounding Tempo!
