If a buyer wanted could they get can style air cleaners on a 990? It seems like a fender modification like on the t 800 is all that msy be necessary

Kenworth Australia makes the T610SAR model which has the 2.1 meter cab like the w990 but they have dual external air filters . Looks way better.

Thanks for pointing that out. Looked them up and I agree. So Kenworth is full of crap when they say they couldn't be fitted for us over here. The square 990 hood with your breathers would look amazing.

you usually spec 7 inch fuel straps, did you tell us tanks can rotate over time w/ smaller straps? the 7 inch have more eye appeal !!

It’s spring ride front. Air isn’t available. Drum all around.

Nice looking truck but I'm not a big fan of shiny chrome or polished parts so if it was me speccing the truck I'd go for powdercoat or paint. The airintakes look better than the large external aircleaners but I know most drivers prefer the other way around. And while I'm on a roll please fit a V8 😊

I don’t know Andy but for a truck that’s been sitting in your lot for a while that was an incredible amount of dirt that you got out of the air cleaner and a lot of heavy dust buildup on the steering column. Must have had some really windy weather blow through the property

It is terribly dusty on our lot. A clean truck has literally minutes to stay that way.

Our sleepers suck because the emphasis is on maximum payload. Cargo is given priority over the driver, that's why they won't stretch the cabs. Mandatory rest periods in 4x2 chicken coops. Who doesn't dream for one of these North American tractors ?

I would agree. The cost isn’t really much difference. Except Nav comes with the limited interior

I'd suggest staying away from nav all together. My truck was acting glitchy as in seek button was volume etc. The radio had to be sent to California for an update which took 3 weeks cause the dealer couldn't get it to update. You realize then that even traction control is hooked through this as I had that light on my dash with it removed. If this didn't fix my radio it was going to cost $4800 for a whole new steering column and a steering wheel not installed. The salesmen will tell you there is no issues with these but owner operators will tell you differently. Luckily the update fixed it.

On the 990’s you gotta have painted air intake covers. The chrome is too much and looks gaudy.

Love those limited interiors. However that dash looks like a plain company truck. Yeah it's got lots options but way too much black plastic. The Peterbilt new style cab with platinum package has it beat. However the bunk design has Peterbilt beat for sure.
