This video brought back memories of when I worked as a clean up kid at Inland Kenworth in Prince George almost 50 years ago! My Pops had a KW cabover back in the 60's, I slept on the doghouse every trip I took with him 😉

I'm more of a Pete guy but have been to Kenworth in Renton and Freightliner's Swan Island assembly plant in Portland back when they still rolled Classic XLs with Caterpillar power off the line. Those were cool.

Loved this clip!! Thank you so much. my camera would have snapped hundreds of pix. That black and orange c500 was used as the lead on for a single deck delivery of a w900 here in nj. The c is going to battelini s for a tow recovey body.

Hey Andy , when are you coming to Australia to see how we produce Kenworths ; The Aussie trucks are alot different to what i see on your channel . I dont see any cabovers which are very popular over here our k200s , our bonneted trucks are 909s or SARs ,w900 legends , would be an eye opener for you and your viewers , , enjoy watching your vids ,cheers

A lot of really cool trucks but at first I thought the trucks had some serious camber issues on the steer tires like they were setup to run the Daytona 500 but then it hit me you are using a fisheye lenses . Also was hoping for a Factory tour on how they were built.

Electric truck? Where would you charge it at and what do you do while it’s charging for hours so you cannot drive it 3 hours and then charge it up again?

Meant for customers running the same route all the time where they can put charging stations at each destination, and meant for small distance deliveries like around ports. In such cases, the cost to operate is quite low.

I thought kenworth closed this plant. When i was buying kw they all came from the ohio plant. Plus i luv the t-800s for heavy haul but on the site i dont see it just that junk!! t680 not a fan of it. but in the seattle plant i see a few t800s.
