Thank you! However it's probably a difference in preference as he may have heard it through a different atom that seems to fit his personal sound choice, I know the next Fir fit mine entirely haha so stay tuned but I appreciate the kind comments and compliments!

Thank you for watching - yeah it's a price that's very difficult to reach and there's one out of the three that I would love to own in the future but still, very expensive

I can agree to the fact that they don't bring anything special, I have them and I got them again because I red too many overly exited reactions on headfi forums. For me the treble is wrong for some reason, what is opposite of extended, recessed, definitely not airy. That is on LPGT Ti, it sounds better on 100 ibasso dc04 for me.

Hmmm that's interesting. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, for me, my experience was different but not sure if eartips we used played a part or the source. I tried it on the DUNU eartips with Hifiman EF400

I was rolling between spinfit cp100 cp145 azla crystal and stock mostly. Not sure if I am expressing with correct words but when I compare it to my mest mk2 I like trebble region more on the mests. After switching to rn I feel like trebble is not airy and a bit down or "closed". Bad thing is I feel like the mest is just a sidegrade to rn - a bit less bass but a bit better trebble, but look at the cost difference heh

=_= did you test only the silver atom? There are four atoms, with red being even more technical than silver and black, gold going all bass.

Unfortunately since it was on tour and there were 3 IEMs in the tour kit to test and compare with limited time, I didn't have a chance to test the IEMs themselves with the different modules. If ever the Fir Audio unit comes back on tour and has the atom modules, I'll make a more comprehensive in depth comparison on the difference on sound each module makes.
