If those were factory original Kar98's than I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell ya

This guy who collected these, I’m assuming sometime frequently after 1945 . Probably had the pick of the very best rifles from a huge import after the war for a steal. To think there selling for a grand plus amazing.
@commiesandmums2 жыл бұрын
in the first few days of 2022 these rifles would easily be selling over $2,000 and probably near $3,000 each.

Many of these rifles are fabrications from James rivers armory... High quality restorations that are made from russian captures. Beautiful guns and shooters but not original. I have one... I love it but these are not genuine
@jz88054 жыл бұрын
Yeah. $600 to $700 tops.

Andrew Kuper well inflation and the limited supply of these rifles and increasing popularity from video games have drove these rifles price of the roof.

Kar98k’s in 1937 didn’t have the same sight hoods as the later models right? So that rifle is complete even without a sight hood.

I might be crazy. But I’m not stupid these guys are out of their mind. A thousand dollars for one of those relics? I don’t think so. In 1956 I could have bought a truck load for 12.00 dollars a piece.
@DelGTAGrndrs3 жыл бұрын
That’s not bad for numbers matching k98. Russian captures go for 1k all day

I like my SWP 45 Russian Capture with cupped butt plate original laminated stock with red glue lines that I know was used in WWII but oh so lightly Thank God. I even have an original used German K98 sling on it and cleaning rod. Have an original German K98 sight hood for it too.
