Use cargo straps and fasten a ladder to the tree. But wait.....i really did just get a pro harnesses. Thanks for the video. Well done

Pretty cool must say, lot to take in at first but im sure you can come up with mad configurations not only for access but for work positioning aswell. 👍

It is a lot to take in, at first! But if you can grasp the soft-8 canopy anchor and the canobase crown anchors systems, separately, this is just those two together with a fancy, controlled way to retrieve them.

I could be wrong, but upon first impression, I really don't see any advantages to this system... you could get the same ease of retrieval with something like a texas tug. You could have a lowerable base anchor for rescue instead of installing a second line in the tree. Am I missing something? do you usually work big trees off two ropes? I seriously don't get the advantages here. just seems like two really complicated canopy anchors wrapped together LOL

The Texas tug does not have the same ease of retrieval as this when you've taken two or more redirects in the tree. A lowerable base anchor is great in theory, until you cut yourself with a saw and have your lanyard on, as is proper. I certainly don't use this system for every tree, but I do prefer it for large trees as it gives me a lot of options for work positioning and retrieval. Check out the video description for my pro-con list of the system. 👍

as an employer: l paid my guy $125. to $200. an hour (depending on the project) and he just made a minimum of $125. for setting this hour long “overkill” system up. (this is definitely one way to milk your employer).👊🏼🤣 this system is for guys that like to have 30 to 40 things dangling from their saddle (that they never use) and for people that are new to the game and love playing with new gear and wasting time. most climbers are minimalist, and only need 7 (maybe) 8 things to get into a tree besides their saddle n rope and that’s: a neck tether, a climbing device (of some sort), a knee ascender, a foot ascender, a soft 8 with carabiner (for a canopy tie), a steel figure 8 (for a redirect), a DMM ring with a carabiner (for another redirect) if needed, and “maybe” a prusik cord with a carabiner (for limb walking) and that’s it. climbing trees is scary and hard enough, you definitely don’t need systems like this to get a person thinking 💭“l hope l did every step of setting that system up correctly, while l’m climbing this huge tree, cause if not, l’m phucked.”.💭🤓

It doesn’t take 1 hour to set up. Maybe 5 mins

I would hate to work for someone who’s counting minutes when my life is literally on the line. Don’t get me wrong, I run a $100,000 / day sometimes more business, I understand, what minutes and seconds cost(yes I figure em up) but death is expensive.
