@@justinhren3431 Yes, absolutely!!! It was my family’s cartridge of choice from the late 60’s through early 80’s and it still gets a lot of use today along with the ‘06 and .375 H&H...... We also use the 257 Bob as well👍

I deeply relate to that part at 12:40, so many friends/family members want to go out turkey hunting or deer hunting because they see all the pictures of my successes, you almost feel a need to dampen expectations as harshly as you can because what they don't see is the 20-30 failure days of swatting mosquitos inbetween shots.

I'm 65 years old and it would be the 2nd greatest thing in my life to be able to moose hunt and put food on the table for my family. The best part about your videos is the messages about JESUS CHRIST and GOD's love. Your right it's how one finishes not starts. The past is the past and we can't change it so just continue in your journey with JESUS that's what I'm doing. I haven't hunted in over 20 years primarily because it's hard to find someone to hunt with when one moves to another state. Now due to my service-connected injury and age, it's only a dream now that will go unfulfilled but the memories I have will last the rest of my life. GOD Bless you your ministry and your family.

For those units that are a draw you have to purchase the tag prior putting in for the draw is my understanding. That doesn't apply for the majority of the state for non residents. A non resident also does not need a guide for moose. A lot of research goes into selecting a unit, location within that unit, air carrier and general strategy, float hunt vs drop off. The cost of the hunt can greatly change as well. Every time the plane touches down can cost $1000-$2000 / leg of the flight, even if it's just hauling your meat. We're heading up 2022, no flights available in 2021 into the area we want to hunt.

That’s the airtaxi pilot and then I was personally running the camera. We switch between rifle and camera on the hunt. It was just the two of us out there. DIY simply means not guided by an outfitter or supplied gear by someone familiar with the hunt. Bring our own gear, find our own animals.
