I wish limmy would just ignore the chat, just during the storytelling, and then goes back to chat in q&a session after the story. This is why I hate streaming, I just don't get the appeal of watching someone doing a task and just couldn't 100% focus on it because they keep distracted by the chat/notification.

It's not a scam as such. You get a cheap tour and they try to sell to you - It's normally a tailor, or a gem shop. If you don't want anything nothing will happen. It's the same all over Asia. Nothing to be afraid of although the sales people can be very pushy. The thing to remember is the driver gets a pittance and by you ust going into a shop, he feeds his family.

It's such a sad story tbh, the driver was at least honest about why he was going there. If Limmy had just asked how much he would get paid I'm sure he could've saved some hours of his holiday for like 20p extra on his day long tour.

@@unicorndelta6071 Agreed. I've travelled all over Asia and this sales tactic is in every country. The drivers are really hard working and would rather not have to deceive you. I always give them a healthy tip (just a tenner goes a long way locally) and still go in the shops. I hardly ever buy anything from them, but knowing the driver outside could perhaps finish early ang go home has always been a great incentive (not that I've ever found out if they go home, as that's a bit of a personal question ha).

Yeah I got picked up by a tuk tuk in udaipur train station by two guys who said we can take you to a great hotel Not too expensive And u know what ? They did. And it was great and I’m Sure they got some payback and I’m happy with that

I got scammed by a tuk tuk who drove us around all day for nothing and took us to suit shops and jewelry shops and temples and told us it was free cos it was the kings birthday . We didn’t buy anything then he fucked off and left us at a temple . Did we scam a tuk tuk ? Was fun anyway
