I worked at this literal Cheddar's in 2007 at 18. I was awful at my job, and nobody tipped me. This is so fucking weird. It was a so/so clean place. I wouldn't take a date there but I guess I'd eat there if the options around me were slim.

As an appetizer in the USA, yes. The hispanic culture of tortilla chips with salsa and/or queso is found in many restaurants which arent even hispanic related.
