Peanut butter on toast is one of the best things to ever exist. ❤

Wild, I also watched a similar short where they called it a "chauffer stop." I've also have been doing it for awhile, but its because my dad's driving has always made me nauseous so I wanted to make sure I didn't make anyone I drove with nauseous :p

As soon as Stephen said “coming to a stop” i knew where he was going. Makes sense!

Seeing that peanut butter sandwich reminded me, didn’t you both have a bread maker Stephen and Mal? Do you still use it?

When I was learning to drive my mum told me about the limo stop. I'm gentle with my car and the few times I do have someone in the back, I take extra care to not suddenly take off or brake since I don't like that feeling

Huh, wow! I thought it was just generally called like "gentle braking" 😂

this is so funny to me, because when i learned to drive i was told that jolt-y jerk-y feeling while stopping meant i actually stopped. not a bad or a strong one by any means, but definitely not completely smooth!

OH that’s what I’ve been doing?? I picked up doing limo stops naturally because it felt good not to jerk the car at the end. Didn’t know it had a name and instructions and everything 😆

Welp, that makes sense, but nice to know I could make a go of uber/lyft.

Stopping smoothly isn’t a universal thing? I thought it was only my mom that never learned it since she drives everything like it’s a go kart. But I definitely learned in drivers ed how to smoothly stop and so did everyone I know. (Unless it’s an emergency stop which takes obvious priority over comfort)

Shoot, I've done that since i started to learn how to drive. I never liked being jerked around in other peoples cars, and didnt want my passengers to feel that way.

Yeah I don't think all instructors teach that! I remember mine did, not sure that my brothers younger instructors ever specifically mentioned it tho. Not based off their driving I'd like to point out lol it just didnt come up over the years we discussed lessons. 😊
