Just a heads up. I use to hot shot and had DOT tell me that the back windows can be as dark as you want them to be. It’s the fronts they say can’t be below 28 percent.

It is either a ticket you can pay and no inspection required or the ticket has to be written off by an officer that visually inspects it. Depends on the county

Man it’s crazy to me that you get pulled over all the time for tint. I live in Kentucky and travel to TN and even northern Alabama often. I’ve had 5% tint on sides and even 35% windshield tint for years. Never have got pulled over in my 13 years of driving for window tint lol

If I cant have tint here in NJ I do not feel bad for anyone that gets pulled over for it. I was and removed it. I was also a 911 dispatcher for 19 years and worked directly with the department that I was pulled over by. Tint looks nice but it puts people above the law who are doing things that they do not want seen behind the window which would include roadies aka road beers or shooters and other things of that nature. Bad people make this happen and they ruin it for everyone.

Just pay the tickets😭 I’ve gotten pulled over for tint in northern Georgia 3 times. I will continue to have it on. My truck, my money, my property. I have a title in my name so therefore I’m entitled to do whatever I want to my vehicle. Florida doesn’t care about tint where I live and I have 20% of the shield and 5 over 20 on all windows✅
