Yes they do sound very similar, a thousand suns is just more mellow and pop oriented but I could still recognize its LP even if you woke me up in the middle of the night and played the song. 3DBY'all and RMV. Sounds like 2 completely different bands. In most albums, lets take SO as example, they usually have couple of slower songs(Re-arranged) and some hip-hop ones(n2gether now) alongside usual rap-metal(break stuff, nookie) and some unique gem like "A lesson learned". You just don't know them

@8636qwerty Linkin Park are good no matter what genre they play. Despite the style of music they play, Chester still has an amazing and very unique voice which makes up for it all. Besides, "Blackout", "Wretches & Kings" and "When They Come for Me" are awesome songs from A Thousand Suns. Without seeing them live, you won't know that they're actually a lot better at performing than they were back in the early 2000's.

I like heavy as fuck songs like "Get to the Gone" - Static-X and "Psychosocial" - Slipknot, but I also love soft songs like "Shadow of the Day" - Linkin Park and "Darkness" - Disturbed('s only soft song). But I absolutely despise practically every single new song spammed across every single radio station there is. POP SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
