Lin's backhand is soooo powerful. Fan's serve is good enough but Lin just smash it by his powerful backhand, just one hit. I have never seen such powerful backhand after Zhang Jike. Wow, wanderful game!🎉

Wow, Fan really overcame his kryptonite this time. But his peak is declining, I can barely feel true pressure from him anymore. He seems faded, distracted and burned out. I remember people talking bullshit like Fan will one day best Ma in great titles and accomplishments. That has never been more wrong, Fan has been in bad shape for quite some time now and there is no one more successful against foreign players than Ma Long. He will never best Ma Long, which was already proven when he lost the Olympic final against him in 2020. That was his chance and he blew it making the goat the goat forever. WCQ will best Fan surely in 2024 and others are already creeping in from behind. If I were Chinese coach I would prolly send WCQ and Ma Long to Olympic singles because they surely will pull through until the finals. WCQ will win of course, but I don't think the dragon has Olympic silver yet so that's fine. Fan and Liang are just not as reliable (against foreigners), neither is Lin Gaoyuan for that matter. Then again, I'm always for non-Chinese players winning so I hope the Chinese will screw up :)
