Join Steve & Dav on their most epic adventure yet as they battle South East Queensland's jungle and climb its highest peak, Mount Superbus, to find the crashed Lincoln Bomber.
On Good Friday at 10:30pm in 1955 "The Good Deed Squadron" answered the call for help and the following day flew a mercy mission to Brisbane Hospital to save a new baby girl's life. The crash claimed the lives of four Royal Australian Air Force Servicemen, a Nurse, and the newborn.
There is definitely a mystery as to how the plane became so far off course. What we know is that due to the baby's medical condition they were flying at 1000 metres, the mountain 1375 metres.
Steve & Dav's trek starts at the end of Emu Creek Road, Emu Vale.
Some believe the wreck is haunted - the journey there a nightmare!
