2:41 Those are Emergency Slides, they're use for Emergency. Example: A fire caught in the plane and the pilot has to land the plane in the nearest airport, after landing there would be no stair truck. This is where the Emergency Slide comes in. When the front door is opened, the Emergency Slide will pop out and... basically forms a slide. After the Slide is out, the passengers can evacuate the plane safely.
