Lincoln Town Car 2001 HVAC Blower Motor regulator replacement

Item ordered from Amazon: RE-1442
A simple replacement procedure, which can be done with minimum tools (8mm socket with cardan joint) and in front of the house.
Takes approx. 30-60 min, depending on how fast you get the old one out.

Hey my02 Lincoln Town car the blower was wide open after a week or so it stopped all together could it still be the regulater

Mines just stared to do it it only tuen off when I shut off the car.any ideas?? Did you change the part and did it stop???

Could a regulator go out completely causing the blower motor to not work? My brothers car used to do the only full thing then it completely stopped working

sure, the transistor is driving the blower and it may burn also in a way that no current passes it

Sometimes fan comes right on, the when first cranks shuts off. Unexpectedly, fan begins to work again. Bad resistor, short, fan or ghost??

Is it connected to your headunit radio to hear audio from tablet through the whole car speakers ? Also how did you get it to stay in position

@@C419THREE I didn't really connect it. I was planning to buy aftermarket amplifier for that, but now selling the car as it was only temporary. Tablet is in place with simple velcro tape
