Damn, that's why we hear "Don't look at me" at the beginning. So beautiful.

The first time I heard *"Beautiful"* was sung by Christina Aguilera. I remember bawling like a baby the first time I listened. I don't know why. I'm not that kind of man. It takes a certain song to get me emotional.

This woman has inspired so many of us; she was the one that tought me to be honest in songwriting. In 2015 i wrote this track ¨Different (Shine)¨ during an anxiety atack in my house; on that moment i decided to be brave and not take the pill that normaly help me relax, and deal with my problems. I let my self feel all of it, i was crying in front of the piano singing about my depression, anxiety, perfectionism, the feeling that i don´t fitt anywhere, that i am no good, feeling lonely. It was pure terapy and writing this helped me a lot; im way better and no need for medication anymore. So the point is that we are so lucky to have artist like Linda that encourage us to be real and let go all this superficial crap that we normally care about too much.

Wow! That was so interesting. Especially hearing about the "don't look at me part" part of the song. Linda perry is an amazing song writer. I grew up listening to Christina aguilera. Her her album stripped is still my favorite album of her hers

This reminds me that songs, even the ones we "write" are gifts we are given, more than gifts we have created. Every song that I've ever written, comes out on the paper; I stash it away. Pull it out later and it speaks volumes to me and I always ask myself, "did I write this one?" Oh...yea it's one of mine. Wow where did that come from?

Thank you so much for sharing that story! I'm songwriting myself for many years now. I never know what my songs are about before I bear them. And I'm always struggelin and feelin deeply insecure when I'm performin it in front of people. I never thought such a gifted person like you, such a legend, would feel insecure, too. Thank you for your music Linda!

Whe I was on highschool Linda and Dolores were my favorite singers, when Xtina appears she became to my new artist, until now love them a lot, but I never thought that Linda worked with Xtina , that was so unbelievable, stripped and B2B amazing, hope they get together and work again. Thanks God they are friends and respect each others as a women and artist. ❤❤❤

She might be insecure, as she says, but I love that she can say straight out about her song "that is a great song".

I guess I misunderstood wikipedia page, I thought Linda was criticizing Xtina because she gets scrutinized for, 'oversinging', but Xtina said to Linda Perry, "You're Doing it Again" Linda Perry thought it was perfect, but Xtina didn't because she's a perfectionist and can hear things about her voice nobody else can.

When I heard christina sing it, I was like it's not only me thinking about myself that I'm not beautiful, if this beautiful perfect creation is singing it too this means she felt the same too and that's when I knew that it's not about the appearances at all, it's about the feeling deep inside. She did a wonderful job and that's when I started to love xtina up untill now and forever more.
