We, of the 1970s grew up listening to her, The Eagles and too many more people to list, made the 1970s so great... Glad that I was a teenager in the first part of the 1970s.. Then I turned 20... I still love this wonderful music...❤

If you ever wanted to know the rumors about Linda being a guiding influence on the Eagles, you only have to do two things. #1 Know that the Eagles were the support band behind her burgeoning career, and #2 listen to the original version of "Desperado". When originally recorded by the Eagles, it was a fast paced sole-less amalgam of words. It was Linda that took the song and revised it to the extraordinary hit you now listen to. Her input in several areas propelled the Eagles to a household word.

While the video is supposed to be about the origins of The Eagles, backing Linda, the clips are from many different periods. Linda’s Boy Scout era was 1977, 6 years after the formation of The Eagles. Joe Walsh harmonizing on 7 Bridges Road is from 1980. A clip of the Pacific Ocean is supposed to evoke Blue Bayou, a fresh water lagoon outside of New Orleans, Louisiana.

No. The Stone Poneys were Linda, Bob Kimmel, and Kenny Edwards. When the original Poneys broke up, there were various other musicians who played with her as LR and the Stone Poneys for a little while and then she became a solo artist as Linda Ronstadt. Bernie Leadon played with her during this early solo period, but left to be a Flying Burrito Brother w/ Gram Parsons. This is when Linda hired Glenn and Don along with Casey van Beek on bass, and Ken Bloom on lead guitar, fiddle and whatever else. This was '69-'70, maybe even '71. Randy left Poco to join Glenn and Don and Bernie in the new (non-Linda) band.
