Bruce will most probably conversed with Uncle James in Cantonese almost daily after the move from Seattle to Oakland. Linda would have been exposed to conversational Cantonese for years. She would have picked up many useful Cantonese words and phrases. She might even had join in the Cantonese conversation between Bruce and Uncle James.

As a Cantonese, I am so touched to watch this video. When Linda introduced Shannon, she told that this is her and Bruce's doughter and this is also Brandon's mui mui... wish that Brandon was there too. My youngest son's Chinese name is Cheung Zung Hou ... the Hou was given by my mom after Brandon's name Lei Gwok Hou. RIP Brandon.

This Family has been a lot, losing Bruce early and their son Brandon at an early age as well, and if I recall Brandon died 1993, so this happened just a year after his passing, it would take years to grief for a family passing, and these two are so remarkable for being so strong going through it. is one of the first times as Spanish speaker I feel lucky to have an internet broadband, and after years living abroa, d being able to know english enough to start diggin about about Bruce family finding all these videos is touching. That makes me recall how much I dreamed as I kid about knowing more about him and his family. I always feel it is good for everybody to learn their parents native language .My parents were born and raised in Italy.However me and my brothers and sisters were born here in the states.When i went to Italy the Italian people told me my Italian was okay.I made them laugh and said i did pretty good as an Italian American.Well getting back to the master Bruce Lee he was amazing and had a gift for Martial Arts.He will live on forever in conversation and his movies and in our hearts.
