As a woman, I have so much admiration and respect for Linda and her daughter Shannon. They are 2 women that have suffered so much pain from the loss of both Bruce and Brandon but they have displayed so much strength with their love for both of them. Linda and Shannon both have been doing amazing work to keep the Lee legacy alive and I admire their strength. Amazing women they are.

Even though Bruce cheated on her because he died in his paramour's appartment, I have a huge respect and admiration for his wife. As Clinton said about Jackie Kennedy "God gave her very great gifts and imposed upon her great burdens. She bore them all with dignity and grace and uncommon common sense". It is they way Linda speaks of Bruce what makes her words so special and touching. She had to go through the most harrowing moments, as losing both her husband and son at a very young age must be quite traumatic and heartbreaking. However, she did measure up regardless of those difficult situations she did experience... keeping Bruce's and Brandon's legacies alive and spreading the beauty of Martial Arts around the world just the same way Bruce had done if he was never gone. I have too much respect and admiration for them both, as they have conveyed a very important message through the years... No matter how hard the circumstances might get in life, as you will always have the choice of carrying on. I wish the best of lucks to your wonderful family!

Big mistake to get involved with Betty that costs him his life. Getting involved with Betty didn't cost him his life. Bruce was sick for months prior to his death. 2 months prior he was having headaches and was puking and had seizure on set. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The result of his death came from overtraining and overworking which consequently caused the swelling of the brain. Not likely an allergic reaction to the painkiller. He was taking those painkillers for months. He chose not to get the medical help before his death due to his stubbornness. A true legend nonetheless.

Love how Bruce realised that to truly teach an art, you cannot reproduce rigidity with large numbers of people. It was (personal, fluid, organic) - he showed them, then the person had to grow individually. Then she said that the martial art is for menal self-discipline - I woinder how many people truly understand that. In other words, what you possess through the art, is greater than the execution of the art itself. When you have that, you have mastered the art. That does not have to take years - it can happen within weeks or months - I believe (and know) - it's all about staying true to yourself and being humble. No fear, confidence. No way, as the way.

What you are saying is very true , I mastered internal martial art ( the use of qi energy ) on my own without any guidance but my self as a human being expressing my self through movement and qi concentration ( conscious meditation ) , this is why I see Bruce as an inspiration , is not about copying the style of another and repeat a sequence , is about understanding the art ( emotion) you want to express and execute it through movement with strength ,agility and senses and Bruce possessed both the internal power of qi and the external physical strength and agility , I believe he suppressed his punches and kicks to not kill his opponent , I can attest this because of the use of qi energy combined with physical force , I myself lack the physical strength and agility that Bruce had , but I do have the internal force materialized
