He's got world championships silver 1 common wealth gold , and I guess 2 silver or bronze as well Asian games Silver 1st runner up at bwf world tour which means 2nd He won silver in India open super 500 He won couple of super 1000s as well like CHINA OPEN SINGAPORE OPEN AUSTRALIA OPEN INDONESIA OPEN DENMARK OPEN FRENCH OPEN Where he beat the likes of Lin Dan and Chen Long to and as far as I can remember He won it all in one or 2 seasons only so he was a beast at that time. He also has 3 Grand Prix titles and 3 silvers as well. Now if you only consider great to be someone like Lcw with 60 plus superseries then I guess you're stupid. Srikanth did take Indian mens singles to a good position. Previous generation (the one before srikanth wasn't that great at international circuit with the likes of Chetan Anand, Gopichand, Anand Pawar etc but srikanth took it to the next level. @@TekkaiJon Maybe your standards are somewhat delusional and you lack knowledge abiut his achievements. He has World Championship silver Common wealth 1 gold and 2 silvers. Asian games Silver. He won Australia open China open Denmark Open India open French Open Indonesia open Singapore open In these tournaments he beat the likes of Lin Dan, Chen Long and Axelsen too. He won all these 6 superseries in a single season which means he won half of the super series kf that year. He also won grand Prix level tournaments as well Thailand open Swiss open Syed Modi international He won a silver at Indonesia Masters too And these are not even all his Grand Prix medals and he also has multiple other medals. Now I'll ask you how many international players carry portfolio of medals like srikanth. He is definitely one of the greats of Indian badminton and also used to be a feared and respected player at internationals too. It's easy to be a keyboard warrior and criticise somebody. I hope you're back to your senses and reflect on your statement about his achievements being a childs play. The only reason you're criticising him is because he's not able to play well after covid many great players suffer from that downfall due to aging. Momota, Lindan, even Chen Long had bad forms when they retired. Would you say the same for them?

I think LD faces difficulty in playing against players who have a very strong smash and play more flat drives and with fast pace,unfortunately LCW doesnot have these features in his game play so LD was very comfortable against him throughout their career but LD faced difficulty against Viktor,Srikanth and even Jonathan christie a lot.

@@hrishirajgogoi1018 yes i agree with you. LCW loved his drop shots and used heavy variation in his game as his strength but when it comes to strategy and reading the game, LD is second to none. However, pure athletic players with powerful attacking game can put his older, less agile self in danger. I assume LZJ would have caused him trouble too if they faced off. Though 2008-2011 LD who had frightening athleticism with his fully developed badminton mind would of course defeat any player.
