The only people in this video that are from the OBC are Lin-Manuel Miranda, Thayne Jasperson (who’s the only OBC member that’s still with the show), and Sasha Hutchings. The OBC of Hamilton featured Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, Anthony Ramos, Christopher Jackson, Okieriete Onaodowan, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Phillipa Soo, Jasmine Cephas Jones, and Jonathan Groff, none of which were in this video. I personally don’t mind that, and I appreciate all the time and effort it took to make this video. I just think that if you’re going to put ‘Original Broadway Company’ in the title, it should probably feature the original Broadway company. If they would’ve put ‘from the cast of Hamilton’, I’m sure just as many people would’ve watched it, and it would’ve been more accurate as to who was in the video. That’s what bugs me.

i totally get what you’re saying, and i wish they were there too :( i just want to point out that the other singers in this medley were all in the original cast ensemble or as alternates! for example - sydney (who sang ‘all i want for christmas is you’) was the original james reynolds, andrew chapelle and javier muñoz were ensemble and alternates for lafayette/jefferson respectively in the obc, carleigh bettiol was ensemble and often danced as sally hemmings in ‘what did i miss’ in the obc, and etcetera! who you mentioned are mostly the people who had main named roles, but it’s important to remember the ensemble was just as instrumental to the cast as well :)

They are all from the original Broadway company. Javy (santa hat) was the Hamilton alternate and did the Sunday performance and took over when Lin left. Alysha covered all 3 Schuyler sisters and went on when one of them was out. Andrew (glasses) covered Laurens/Phillip, Mulligan.Madison, and Lafayette/Jefferson. Morgan (gold turtlerneck) was a swing that covered all 5 female ensemble dancers. Betsy (green hat) was an ensemble dancer who left the company a couple of months before the film was made. None of them are in the film. but were backstage (except Betsy) and ready to go on if needed. The other 4 are in the film (Sasha, Carleigh, Sydney, Thayne)
