I saw the staff at Starbucks tell a guy as he was headed into the bathroom that he was banned from the store and that he couldn't use the restroom. I think I understand why they did that now...

A lot of ppl use Starbucks restrooms & thrift restrooms to do drugs :-( I know SBUX has a big problem with it. YMMV depending on where you live, but a lot of them lock their restrooms now. I live in a really suburban area & a lot of thrifts are starting to do it too due to drug use.

Had a similar incident working as a Walgreens Pharmacy manager. I allowed a handicapped man to use the bathroom and lived to regret it. He pooped in and on the toilet, in one corner of the bathroom, in the trash can and smeared it all over the, toilet tank, sink and floor. Couldn't believe my eyes. To make matters worse, we had to force him out of there because he refused to come out. It was quite a shift. 🤢

Someone told me once that mostly girls/women do this when something "traumatic in a deeply personal way" happens to them. When I worked retail, women would often relieve themselves in the dressing room. I've also been in the dressing room changing (a busy dressing room) and a woman relieved herself in one of the stalls. I heard all of the staff cussing, complaining about it and making a commotion. When I came out, my husband who was waiting on me asked what was going on in there because there was so much commotion. I told him that a woman strolled in and did her business and left.

Oh my. Been through it as a store manager. Poo pile outside the bathroom because they didn't come get a key to go in and the bathroom was locked. And they took off their flannel and wiped down and left the flannel on the floor with a pile of poo under it in front of the bathroom door. Unbelievable!!! Not a store manager anymore. I work a government job now.

I sold stuff on consignment in a very small gift shop. The owner let a lady and her child used the bathroom because the owner took pity on her. The lady and child hustled out the store. She checked the bathroom after she left and sure enough she stole toilet paper and handsoap. She washed out the door and yelled at the lady who turned and said thank you!! What a horrible person. She steals and, laughs, and says thank you!!!

I was unfortunate enough to enter a public restroom after someone had done something similar. I was waiting and the women who exited said there was "no toilet paper" which somehow caused her to get "it" literally everywhere, including all over the walls. I've never seen anything like it before or since.

We opened a brand new walmart store at 7:30 in the morning, ribbon cutting and all. By 4:30 that afternoon, someone had taken a crap in the men's room sink. People are the worst.

My ex worked where they had a public toilet and that was a usual occurrence at his place! They would smear the walls with poop, at least a weekly occurrence! They tried to get him to clean it up once and he told them it was not in his job description!

I probably have crohns and can have explosive diarrhoea with little to no warning. I would have it where an employee would stay with the customer and or children while using the toilet and then escort them out. I would happily be escorted to use a toilet, so I can use it and try to use it as clean as possible.

My gut tells me this lady did this on purpose and I don’t think it was her idea. I’d almost bet money that the lady with the kids that you busted had something to do with it. Whether she put the lady up to it or MAYBE she opened the back door and let the lady in while she was back there. Idk but that sounds like it was done in retaliation. And that’s absolutely despicable. My goodness what is wrong with people? I don’t care how bad I have to go, I don’t go in public. Well, I take that back. I ONLY use public if I’m about to go on myself. And I rarely EVER let it get that close.

I was made to choose between leaving my purse in my car or put it in a locker at the register in an antiques store. I was puzzled as I am not careless, nor a thief, but the prevention of possible damage and theft made sense to me. We were given baskets to carry our selections to the register. That shop had some awesome stuff.

This sounds like the behavior of mothers & children in Orange County, CA when I was working in snooty ville. I told a little boy to put down a glass bottle of liquid herb. She said "YOU OBVIOUSLY YOU DON'T HAVE ANY CHILDREN!". I said if he breaks it, you have to pay, & if he cuts himself, we are not liable! I had another Mother tell me that we were mean because we told children to put down stuff. I think the snooty people all moved to TX!

This was totally intentional. Poop smearing is a medical condition that some people have. It's so gross but it's not uncommon. I used to work in a place and this happened at least once a year in the public bathroom. It also happens in our city parks all the time. The city resorted to putting cameras just outside of every public restroom to help stop it.

I went in there at night & a woman was passed out on the floor with her pants down & hadn’t been able to wipe yet … it was on her clothes & the floor. I had to clean the same experience when I worked at a Rutters it is a gas station. the person painted every surface with poop. Also had men poop in the urinal. People are nasty.

When I worked retail public bathrooms were never not a disaster unfortunately. Doesn't matter the store or the area even it seems people just consistently do fouls stuff it's kind of eye opening that these people are out there amongst us and they probably seem so normal but will then turn around and do. You very quickly become closed off and jaded when you have a job that forces you to deal the public. You start to realize that the avg person is well insane quite frankly. Foul things going on in the toilet, the sinks, the walls the ceiling, the trash can even. I've seen it all. Drug use, people doing weird stuff with food I mean it's insanity. It's so extremely common that you just won't be able to look at people the same way. I totally wouldn't blame anyone that decides to close off bathroom access. If you are some massive corp it quickly becomes more trouble than it's worth.

Its amazing how many people will train their kids to steal. I used to be the warehouse manager at a Catholic Charities warehouse. We had more than one instance of people using their kids to sneak in through a tiny window in the middle of the night. Send the kid in through the window then they come and open the door to let the parents in. Sad. Real sad. I can't imagine a child amounting to anything in life after that upbringing. As far as lack of bathrooms this is really the mark of a declining civilization. I'm recovering from kidney failure and consequently drink a ton of fluids. I have a mental map of most of the public bathrooms in Anchorage and they are almost all a complete mess. Now I'm starting to find obvious human waste on my daily walks. Human waste = disease and plagues. I'm currently making a compilation video of the porta potty next to the library where I'm typing this up. New portta potty after one week gets lock cut. Then a small fire. They more holes. Grafitti. More graffitti more holes more burns. Finally someone torches it then the cycle begins anew. The waterway next to it is full of human pathogens. Dogs drink the water and birds bathe in it.
