My dad got me into fishing before I can remember. I grew up watching In-Fisherman TV and reading the magazines and special video releases. I have learned so much and keep learning more from these videos. I am grateful beyond belief how much fishing means to me. Your entire family has been a huge part of my life and I owe so much to you all. You have changed my life. I dont even want to imagine a life without fishing. Thank you so much. I remember growing up I got to meet Al at bass pro shops. I have met huge celebrities and athletes and didn't care one way or the other. However getting to meet Al in person when I was 8 was the biggest deal. To this day when someone says they met so and so I always say "ya, well I met Al Lindner." They ask who that is and I give them a 10 minute story on how Al and his family have shaped my life.

Really enjoy the multi species approach. One of the best fishing shows on tv. I love that y’all aren’t afraid to talk about your faith in the videos. Keep up the good work!

I really hope Wisconsin follows suit soon on some of our big bluegill lakes and puts a five fish limit out on those bull gills! We don't have very many lakes anymore where you can catch a legit 9+ inch bluegill. Sure there are always one or two in any lake, but I have a few lakes I fish that I catch a 9 every time out. I stopped keeping them that size five years ago and haven't looked back.

I agree with you. I throw those above 9 inches back. You really don't get that much more meat than a smaller one because the head and belly are bigger. Those are empty spaces as far as meat go. I am this same way with every species. I have a lake in Iowa that has a very healthy bass population in the 15-16" range. I (gasp) keep a few bass that are 15-16" allowing those 13-14" bass to come up into that gap and releasing any over 16" for good breeding stock. I have cleaned so many fish in my life that I mostly catch and release. Fishing is my passion and I enjoy it.

Great video and those are some nice bluegills!! We have used a similar technique when we fished in Ontario, Canada for bluegills and it is amazing as to how well it works!! As for Al's message he is right, always listen to your gut feelings because when you don't it backfires every time!! His closings at the end of your show are really great and thanks for sharing this with us!!

Thanks for sharing the expertise and pointers for summertime bluegills. I have enjoyed bream fishing over 60 years of my life, and still do. I am a blessed man in a lot of ways but especially that my wife fishes with me. I don't have sophisticated locating gear like you use, so maybe someday you can help even us old bream fisherman with how to find and catch the bream with a $100 depth finder, graph. Best to you.

Funny when you said 40 years ago because that’s around the time when we use to catch them that big up here in the kawarthas. Wish they would put a limit on them here too.

You don't need vmc hooks. Tie a loop and 64th oz jig with gulp alive 1 in then hold on.

Thank You Al for the Great Words of Wisdom from the WORD OF GOD. May Our LORD continue to use your ministries to reach the World for JESUS CHRIST. My message to You, & All Fellow Christians is what Paul said to the Church of ROME, (ROMANS 1:11-12; vr.11 For I long to see you in order that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established. vr.12 That is that I may be encouraged together with you while among you, each of us by each other's faith, both yours and mine. People who don’t care are poachers and there’s nothing you can do about them. Did you watch the whole video? Seems like they’re doing a great job managing that lake.
