How to tie a Dragonfly Nymph for Fly Fishing

Eyes - Veniard Glass Damsel Twin Eye Bead (Iridescent Lilac)
Undertail - Gold & Pearl glister
Tail - Dave Downie Dark Olive Marabou
Rib - Textreme Magic Tinsel Olive
Body - Troutstalkers Sooty Olive
Thorax Cover - Textreme Magic Tinsel Red
Thorax - Troutstalkers Sooty Olive
The weather is starting to warm up nicely and it won't be very long before we start to see Dragon flies zipping around our rivers and Stillwaters. The dragon fly nymph is generally much bigger than its smaller cousin the Damsel. This pattern will work on small and large Stillwaters and will definitely be one for the Brownies.

Lovely fly again sir go to pattern on just about everywhere I fish I do the red using holographic red full length of the body up to head held in with wire and olive hackle at head gives nice pulse when moving
