When I was away for college during Hurricane Harvey, both of my parents were volunteering with the fire department, helping evacuate people and keep them safe. Seeing this video makes me so proud to have them as my parents. Thank you Mom and Dad and thanks to everyone else who helped with the hurricane relief.

I'm crying, this is so beautiful. After a while, the general public lost interest in the damage done by the hurricanes. They donated and they were done with it. I'm so glad you and others are helping keep this relevant. I lived in Texas for 10 years (I'm 15 and I had to move recently) and a lot of my friends and family were affected by Harvey. I've seen videos and images of places I knew leveled to the ground by wind and waves. And I'm so glad you included Puerto Rico in this as well. I may not have the same personal attachment but I feel empathy for the people of Puerto Rico because they aren't getting the recognition they need and deserve. They didn't get as many donations, they didn't get as much recognition, they didn't get the same amount of help from the government when they should have gotten more. People are stranded on an island without power or water and yet they aren't given help because people don't see them on the same level as states. They don't realize that Puerto Rico is part of the U.S. too. Thank You

Bless you, Lindsey! 2017 was the year we almost did not have Christmas. But Puerto Ricans can be resilient and resourceful - like those people who bought battery-powered Christmas lights. As of now (mid-July 2018), close to 1,900 customers still have no electricity, and God knows how many people still do not have a safe roof over their heads. I wanted to have the knee-jerk reaction to the sponsorship. I did. You can argue if you want about the Salvation Army and their values, or Mastercard's Masterpass...but you know what I saw? I saw a young woman I admire, using an advantage she has to in turn give to others. I saw her putting faces and names to people who stepped up and did what they could. How could I not celebrate that? In the end, I teared up. Bravo, and thank you to all those who helped in this or other disasters.

Thank you SOOOO much for making this video, I come from Puerto Rico and my family was in that hurricane. We had no way of finding our if they were ok or not. You and sooo many other people helped my country and family survive. When I watched this video, it reminded me of how people can be soooo kind and helpful if they put their heart and soul into helping instead of hurting people. I’m literally crying right now because I am sooo thankful and blessed to be alive and healthy today. After the storm, we got in contact with my family and their ok. Thank you again so much for reminding me and my family that no matter what, we will always be connected and will always be able to find each other. May God bless you Lindsey!🙏💫
