@danielstephens1185Ай бұрын
He keeps dropping! Uh to address your request, check the channel. He does have a video explaining how he does it. Quick explanation is take the lowest note you can sing loudly, hold it, and while holding it, relax your stomach muscles. The note should drop lower.
@nathanwahl9224Ай бұрын
Same thing I was thinking. After warmup I can get an audible G1, but nothing fortissimo until about a B1 or so. Sometimes a sub E1 or even a D1 will pop out loudly, but I cannot figure out how to do it consistently.
@karenponchak5304Ай бұрын
Ironically, in the recordings, some tracks (usually background vocals) are doubled. I do believe the lead is not doubled.... mainly because I've heard him (as a patron) in chats literally just randomly drop a sub, or two, or three....and they are audible even when he's three feet or so from the microphone.
I'll just say it, Geoff is a gift we are lucky to have. He shares his tremendous talent and creativity with us.

It blows my mind how the most repetitive songs seem to spark the most incredible creativity in you! You turned it into the most epic version of 'Carol of the Bells' in the history of ever! The instrumentation is so monumental, the tremolo strings, the drums, that wonderful piano countermelody. There are so many interesting spins; the slow section with the gentle high singing and the dull drums contrasting it so beautifully, that key change on 'raising the sound' - brilliant! The set is gorgeous and very tastefully decorated too. Merry ChristMAS!

Geoff, Geoff, Geoff... your vocal movement on the word "to" in the first "to young and old" was the first of many "WAIT! What was that?!?!" moments! I struggle to listen all the way thru because I catch something new and interesting each time I play it. I cannot imagine the amount of blood, sweat, and tears you put into your craft, and we are all sooo grateful! I don't consider your songs to be "covers" anymore. You make them your own! They are Castellucci originals, somebody else just happened to write the lyrics. Vocals, arrangements, videos... you are an artist in the truest sense of the word. Thanks for making so many of us better musicians! Merry Christmas!🎄❤

I think there are several people now who refer to his 'covers' as 'upgrades'.

MAJESTIC! Ding dong, ding dong, ding DOOOOOOONG! This is not how I imagined the sound of little "sweet silver bells" but I think this was the shake our world needed to become a better place and I love it!!! Thank you for that, sir! Merry Christ MAAAAAS to you!

Repeatedly you take repetitious (ahem, deadly boring) songs and transform them into a thing of beauty. Your ability to do this is magic, and the only form of repetition I welcome. Thank you for another gorgeous arrangement.

Wow! Love this! As a soprano in a philharmonic chorus, I always loved singing next to a bass/baritone! Geoff has tremendous depth & fullness… spine tingling!

You may not like repetitive songs, Geoff, but they seem to bring out the creativity in you like nothing else! It's as if they give you the excuse you need to go all out with your creative genius and it blossoms into epic masterpieces like this! Absolutely gorgeous! 😍😍🤩🤩🔥🔥

@@huldradraco I told him the same thing in Voiceplay's premiere last night. He "basically" said that today is dec 5th. It's out dec 6th *blah blah blah*. In my comment I happened to say tomorrow instead of the exact date. Then said he was going to copy and paste it in my comment here too lol. Or was it here he commented me and Voiceplay he was going to send a copy 🤔.

After listening to this song more than once, I would like to add: every time Geoff records a new cover, I think it's so great that it couldn't be better. It's just impossible! But Geoff surprises again and again. So this time, using the lowest sounds of his voice, he rose to a new height.

I've been watching voice play and Geoff for a handful of years now and I said before and I'll say it again The man is not human. How he held that low note and just slowly transition slightly up and down as long as he held that no at least in three or four transitions is literally baffling. Another good one Keep it rolling
