I've had this foundation for a few months now, as well as the matte primer. You're description of the primer is spot on! I'm still on the fence on how I feel about the foundation. I still havent tried the Ilia True skin yet and recently watched your video on the new Pacifica Alight foundation. Would love to know your thoughts comparing these 3!

Adrienne S i would say that it really depends on your preference in finish + skin type, but for me the Ilia True skin serum foundation is the perfect everyday foundation and feels super lightweight + natural. I would reach for the Pacifica foundation if I wanted a longer wear time and fuller coverage. The 100 percent pure foundation after testing out a couples times more didn’t really work for me, so I would definitely gravitate towards the other two more. But the primer is definitely a hit!

This is the only foundation I’ve found that works with my skin type, has my pale shade, and isn’t too thick or fake-looking. I usually add a drop or two of Code of Harmony’s Glo-Berry oil and set it with W3ll People’s Realist Invisible Setting Powder and it lasts all day! I also love 100% Pure’s Coffee Bean eye cream. Not impressed with their lengthening mascara though.

Ella No worries! I use the shade Cool 1.0 in the winter and it’s perfectly pale, haha

I have this foundation as well. I also cannot use it with a brush. I use it with my fingers. It’s definitely medium coverage on me as well. I find it hard to blend because it’s satin but it’s a bit matte on me also. It works because I’m oily and I set it with powder.

😍 have To try this one !! I use the Ilia one and OMG its my holy grail !! It blurs everything, texture and wrinkles. Nice dewy/natural finish. I apply with fingers. Buildable coverage. Its awesome !! Love your reviews !!🤗💞

Have the same shade as you and don’t like the foundation because it’s not full coverage and the beauty sponge absorbs too much of it, don’t like applying fingers with this one or brush, so not a lot of tools left to make it full coverage

GreenLover I definitely agree the only finish I like with this is with using a sponge, but unfortunately you have to use a lot of product to get coverage out of it. 😕
