I've listened to a lot of music, and I have to say that IMHO, this is unique, _sui generis_ , bearing similarity to a number of things but comparable to none. It's got the flow and energy of a pop song, the soaring emotion of an aria, the deep movement of feeling of a violin solo, and the contemplation of traditional poetry. The video is its own art, telling its own story without words or gestures (if you're not sure, mute the sound and watch it again). If I may be excused for commenting on aesthetics (and even if not), there's something intangible about watching the two ladies perform; Lindsey's lithe and dexterous dancing/playing, and well-above-par face acting to boot, opposite Amy's performance as a full-figured and expressively passionate vocalist. It's like a vortex of juxtaposition I can't extricate myself from. Excellent performances and production, I love this every time I watch it. Thank you Amy and Lindsey.

Perhaps the original song and its release timing was something "greater than chance". People have often described events happening at a loved ones time of death or shortly following it. (The spirit of one of my aunts visited my mother within the same hour of her passing). I personally believe that the departed are always with us because the people we become are results of the people we know, love, and interact with and a little "piece" of them is forever forged into ourselves. And I truly believe this because of my grandfather; a soldier, visited me during my time in the Army in three dreams, at times when a hurdle was about to present itself for me to clear (one of which was a promotion I had no idea was coming that I had a condition to achieve). He saved me from danger in said dreams and told me, "You're alright." I haven't encountered him again since I left active service. Remember, thank, and always love

Been a fan of Amy Lee since early 2000's with Evanescence. Been a fan of Lindsey Stirling since Crystalize first released early 2010's. Now early 2020's they come together to make beautiful music!

This is a great song its haunting and upbeat at the same time. Lindsey's violin and Amy's vocals are perfect together. It kind of reminds me of Simon and Garfunkle they were very good on their own but even better together. Garfunkle had the best voice but Simon could write very poetic interesting songs and their voices together were amazing.

Beautiful but too short to be called a song because theres hardly any meaning or lyrics , Beautiful vocals and violin play together ❤ but still too short to be called a song, maybe should adjust it and make the lyrics to song a bit more instead of just what little you have in this video ? There's an old familiar silence When I'm lost inside my heart I can't hear the voice inside me So I look up to the stars There is darkness ever waiting I can feel it in the air So I call upon my angels Are you still there? When the wind bends the branch to softly touch me When the band plays your song I feel strong enough to keep dreaming Even when I'm all alone Our love goes on and on When the wind bends the branch to softly touch me When the band plays your song I feel strong enough to keep dreaming Even when I'm all alone Our love goes on and on Over all you both beautiful and bonded together. But in video since theres hardly any lyrics its mainly linsey stirling playing instrumental video .. Still beautiful tho ❤

When I first heard this song, I found myself wishing there was a music video to go along with it. Now that there is one, it's absolutely what I would expect from Lindsey! A stunning piece that tells a story with clear emotions. Not to mention this is a powerful song with powerful words. Thank you for this

Well now... That was a song i didnt know i needed! What a wonderful performance from them both! Not going to lie, whenever i see new music by/featuring either Amy Lee or Lindsey Stirling, i am always drawn to check it out immediately... To find this song more by chance as algorithms suck, with both singer and musician... I was so excited! I was not disappointed! It will take a lot more listens to get my head around it, i think it will be one that is definitely better with the video than without because it is fascinating/captivating.
