This is incredible. I love old jazz and 1920s pop music, but because most modern bands trying to play that music sounds... odd... I was scared that what I like about the music is the tone given to it by the primitive recording tech. This demonstrates to me that this kind of music is, in fact, good, and it would still be good no matter the tech used to record it.

No damn band has the right to be this fucking good! They've got this down pat! Even the trumpet soloist is using a Conn Vocabell trumpet from the era. This... this is pure class!

I was recently in Prague and saw some of these guys playing on the Charles Bridge, and they were excellent! They certainly are some fine musicians!

Cazzarola, Che super-ricostruzione!!! Thank you for posting*****

Excellent performance, perfect voice and singing for this music, much respect to all the band too. Singer looks like my uncle from back then, amazing. Nice dancing lady too : ) Now just in fun, the title of the song makes me think of the cartoon, the romantic male "Pepe Le Pew", and the female cat desired girlfriend sneaking away

Ondrey is currently the best. Our Max Raabe is too perfect. Ondrey and his band have such a nice humor and eye twinkle in their performance!! Carry on!

I heard Max Raabe here in Berlin about a decade ago and I also thought he was a tad too polished, though he had all the costumes and settings down pat.

The Original Prague Syncopated Orchestra led by genius of Pavel Klikar (Lead Trumpet) remains the best 20's reincarnation orchestras ever. Pardon my accent.

I guess it's time to go back to Prague to enjoy it again. They was a lot of jazz Made in the 1920ties in Czechoslovakia by composer and musician mr. Trexler and the melody makers by ONDREJ Havelka dedicated to one of their concerts completely to that talented musician who lived all the way to 99 years

Similar to bobbobato's fear, I had always thought that people now-days just didn't even care to replicate the true way old music was, as most of what you hear now is very odd, but OPSO has always pulled through.

This is amazing, I feel like I'm listening to a 1920ies recording. The baryton/trumpet solo break by Jordanek/Klikar could as well be Adrian Rollini/Bix Beiderbecke. Is there a home page for the band? Do they have regular performances in Prague?
