thanks for the in-depth look at the update. it helped a lot to break it down for me. i've used helix pretty much since the beginning. i think the amps have gotten more and more realistic sounding and there is always at least one new effect that i end up integrating into my presets with every firmware update. i'd really like to have a way to upgrade the processors because i always seem to run out of cpu and have to remove a block or two to get where i want to be. the new cab stuff has made that a lot better so that's very welcome. keep up the good work WT.

Just think most of the Ambient Tones can more or less be traced to the Edge U2, and also Nick of the Verve/early stuff. Soundscape textures. Wonder who in the actual Worship Rhealm started doing this. I know we had a fellow at Calvary Orlando, who I used to say could do SPACE music, he was a master at it, and this was late 90's and especially Early 2000's. What he was using then I never really investigated it, he did have a midsized pedal board layout, so whatever was available then. This ALL sounds so Great from HELIX. Hoping for more usage of this update. Break out the Gretsch's. I bet if the Clarity was paired with some blue/silver Alnico vox speakers, it would sound just like my OLD Super Beatle Amp. It sounds great.

I’d disagree 🤷🏻♂️ sounds like a flattened tube screamer to me. Reacts very similarly to me. Different enough for people to grab it who don’t love a TS but it does the chewy saturation in a similar way to me!
@insomniakidmonkey11 ай бұрын
@@worshiptutorials and that’s ok. I feel like it adds a different color than a tube screamer as the gain gets crank. I use the non bass cut version so that may be the difference for me. Having that boom in the low end is a different reaction and I love it. I normally have the gain lower and use the level as gain with a tube screamer in front of it.

I'm.. I guess, pretty old school and havnt really dived in full bore into the modeling thing. Ive been playing clubs for years and and use an HX Effects in the 4CM configuration with a very heavy tube combo amplifier, (in wieght and tonality). Its a lot of work, and it is, and I am getting old...er! LOL.. When I go to church and watch these vidoes with everything in stereo and all the control and ambiance, I think that sounds awesome, but I could never do that with my settup. Dialing in the amp models and all of the optional mic/speaker configurations seems a bit tedious, like at a certain point I would think, okay already... this is taking too much time away from playing. All of that junk being said, once you do get a sound you like, what do you guys do in terms of the sound delivery to the crowd or congrigation in terms of powered speakers to make it portable and consistant?

Well, the software is exactly the same.
