Line 6 Pod Express LOOPER How to use video

The POD Express by Line 6 has a one button looper function. Guitar, red version. How to use it and the pros and cons are reviewed in this instructional video. Useful demo of looper, thanks! Nice to see how many overdubs can be layered. Since we can't use the Delay with the looper live so to speak we'd have to set preset with the delay ahead of time then kick in the looper and change presets as needed Looking forward to testing an external footswitch with the looper. With a two button can set one for Dist and one for Delay (looper hopefully). Noted too that the power adapter needs a 2.1mm barrel (more common) unlike other Line 6 pedals that need a 2.5mm barrel.

As far as I can tell, delay doesn't work at all during loops. Am I missing something?

@@TrainedZombie I think just set a delay as you like with other fx and amps and save to a preset location, then call up preset and add looper?

You cannot go into the looper mode from the presets

What is a good clean tone amp? I’d like the fender but the gain knob always introduces distortion and lowering that mutes the sound altogether! So far I’ve been using no amp mode.

A couple of things I’d like to see improved with the looper: put the looper after the reverb when in looper mode, and have the ability to set the loop volume.

Don't believe the hype. The Pod Express is not a good IR pedal. It is fizzy, raspy, cold, gain on or off, no 'body', I could go on. I was totally disappointed. I had for 2 weeks and could hardly get a recordable sound out of it.
