Bishop moves while defending the f3 pawn(wastes a move) knight captures pawn on f3, bishop recaptures knight on f3 (if you play against me you can recapture I might still blunder) king recaptures bishop, then eventually the pawn g4…then Vincent is 2 pawns up. Pentala ofcourse knows about this and that is why he resigned…

He resigned bc any move from the king towards the knight or pawn (even capture the pawn) is met with knight d4 which eventually eliminates whites last two pawns, even if knight and bishop don’t get traded, but the bishop can’t stop those two pawns marching down the board. Instead, if the king moves away from pawn and knight to help prevent the above scenario while bishop keeps an eye to the queening square, just knight to a3 defends the queening square and you must give the bishop.

So here you resign because the white king has to move, after which the knight can attack either the bishop or the pawn if Kb2 Nd4, attacking the pawn on f3 - which cannot be saved - what ever you do the knight will take, take, take with the king, the white king is too far away, black will just gobble up white's pawns if Kc3 or Kc2 (the white king going after the knight instead) Nd6, attacking the bishop which can no longer protect both the f3 pawn and the queening square b1.

For those wondering why Agad didn't finish the game: No matter where the white king goes, you will either get forked, and lose your bishop, which is winning for black, you will lose the f3 pawn or if you move to defend d4, you will block the bishops sight to the queening square, or if you move to defend the base pawn chain, you would defend the queening square with the knight and then trade the bishop for a queen

It is a joke. A white rook on the seventh rank or a black rook on the second rank is called a pig. The joke is referring to the fact that rooks usually eat a lot of pawns when they get there

If king takes pawn then the knight wins the f3 pawn and white cannot defend the g pawn either. If king goes after the knight via c4 you fork king and bishop. In any other case except the losing kd3 you go after the f3 pawn as I stated
