Line In Prop

When you hear something that's not normal, stop right away and investigate to avoid a tow and costly repairs. And I must have had reef on the brain when I said I had it all around me. It wasn't reefs, I was surrounded by shoal, still something I didn't want to drift into and get stuck in. Regardless, this was a video I knew I should do despite being really peeved having to deal with this. I did get over it pretty quick though. It's hard to stay mad when surrounded by beautiful water and wildlife.

OH YES, a time or two with me as well. I'm sure the lines come from the miles of crab traps. Also, you need to be watchful into and out of main post inlets for overthrow trash bags by ships that can get caught in the intakes and block water and quickly burn out your impellers. Best to stay to one side of the other and not center for the first two to three miles when heading in or out. Good information thanks for sharing. Keep up the great work skipper.

Its like running a mine field in some of the Keys. I lived in Key West for 5 years and absolutely loved it. Boca Grande is beautiful, just get out before the wind drops off at the end of the day or the flies will carry you away.

Those ropes and lines can cause seals to break causing water to enter areas not meant to get flooded. Good you took care of it quickly.

Thanks for the comments. I definitely plan on doing more boating, mostly in the keys I think this fall.
