it's a confusing amp, but you can learn with it, and for the price they're selling at, you'd have t be crazy not to get one on a budget. I've used a jam for years as my bedroom amp, and I love it. I honestly am not looking forward to replacing it, nothing does what it does so conveniently, and I know exactly how to get the sound like want, you know that sound that people complain about they can't get...mostly because they don't have enough patience to learn how things work...that sound is beautiful. great for small rooms, or house gigs, don't take it on the road tho, it's not made, or built for that. it's a learning amp that you can live with long after you've learned how to play. YES pedals work with it, yes you can direct out to your pc, yes, you can upgrade the presets, and yesy parts are available, hell, even en entire spare amp is a good idea lol. open back, so you can mic it, and get all kinds of creative sounds people are to lazy to fk with now. don't listen to these YT idiots that trash Line 6, they're making money of it. trust yourself, go play one, you'll get it...it's a budget amp, and it deserves a lot more respect than the internet dumbasses are giving it.

The vid was helpful only in the sense it showed how to do some savings of settings but totally useless when it came to the amp sounds. Is Line 6 afraid to let us hear the actual amp?

I'm debating between getting the Jam or the regular Spider IV 75. The Jam has some really cool and unique features with all the jam tracks and recording options. It just has fewer presets, FX, and amp models. The sounds I really want are Steve Vai, Randy Rhoads, Jimmy Page, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Does the Jam come with any presets for them (Artist or Song)? Also, does it have any jazz (clean) presets or jam tracks? Thanks!

HELP I just unboxed my NEW Spider 6 Jam and the "Holod for tuner" light KEEPS FLASHING, I learned how to RESET the Amp by this video but the light keeps flashing anyway. A lot of people on here bitching about the background music, but not many saying what a great little amp this is! This thing has loads of presents, and lots and lots of tone alternatives. The recording abilities are lean, but better than nothing, especially using the looping feature. It's lost the easy channel feature, but I am using a the 4 channel FBV board for ease and my jamming buddies don't really notice the difference that much. Please beware though, this is not necessarily the easiest amp the use some of the recording and pre-recorded backing tracks (shows up at about 2:30 of the vid). But overall. this is a great sounding little jamming amp. Hope this helps.

+broshaman I don't know how yet, but I have heard that you can turn the drums sound volume all the way down. Hope that helps in some way.
