My expression pedal just broke with very light use. I can not get ahold of anyone from Yamaha or Line 6 to get a service or fix for this. Watched a few videos only to learn how crappy the pedal design is with the hinge tabs held on by a very thin piece of metal. I would appreciate some information on how to fix or service.

i am thinking of using the helix only for its parametric EQ into my evh 100W stealth 6L6. However, since i already have a Boss NS2 noise suppressor running the 4 cable method via the effects loop with an overdrive (like this: 3.bp.blogspot.com/-jzjE-b2eu5k/URTEs_KxoQI/AAAAAAAAATY/ZV5onYm-v7o/s1600/4.png), can I run the helix within this loop?

I mean, when it comes to mechanical things like this, for me, anything that can go wrong will go wrong (and I'll probably get creative in my clumsiness & figure out new ways to screw it up). Just like the Red Bean POD(2.0 I my case, witch is no different to the ordinal other than the software update!), 25 years on its still my favourite. I just purchased the pedal FB4 and I real found your video very helpful. I bought a 16Gb memory card with litteral 1,000's of bands setups. I never got around to using it until now. I love the simplicity of the POD and having everything at very short reach and your finger tips! I was well ahead of it time and Line 6 never seems to disappoint. *You know I own an hx effects, I must say, I think it is some real BULLSHIT that you guys FORCED THE ENDUSERS to sacrifice the routing parameters as an effect. Placing the effects loop or doing splits "IS NOT AN EFFECT", so why should we have to sacrifice an EFFECTS BLOCK just o use that feature. because of that for my rig, I have to purchase A SECOND HX-EFFETS and then when I use the effects loop in my switcher I can only place (x1) EFFECT BLOCK in the loop for an effect.. so automatic, if i use the FX loop I LOOSE a block.* THAT IS BAD BUSINESS

How do I set up snapshots on the stomp xl? I am trying to find the answer but unfortunately all the videos I see are 45 minutes long and are mostly people talking about their tone and what they like to do. I just want to get the simple answer. I’m about return this damn thing.

Does anyone know if there is a way to use the MODE Footswitch (Footswitch #6) to switch between Presets + SNAPSHOTS, instead of Presets + STOMP? I'd like to be able to have all 8 presets available, and to switch to the 8 Snapshots (Helix LT) for any given preset with the press of 1 button. Any help with this would be amazing!

What ! For a mixer XLR Line level ? I think mixer board want to see a Mic Level not a Line Level right !!!! My Helix im sending XLR Output for a Midas M32 Live and my set up in Helix XLR is setting to Mic not Line Level !!!! Can you explain this !! Regards from Portugal Lisbon

The signal then immediately goes out and in the effects loop going through some external overdrives and preamps that are MIDI controlled. Then it goes through the onboard effects and then the wet signal goes to the stereo outputs to a left and right Boss Katana 100 Mk2 head and 212 cabinet. I would like to take the dry signal from the preamps and route it from the HX to a center amp which is a Marshall JCM800. Is there a way to set up the second effects loop so it sends that dry signal out but doesn't interrupt the entire signal chain if there is nothing coming into the return?

I was thinking of getting one, but am I able to use this for the bass guitar, cause I tried getting a helix stomp on facebook but this was the only thing that I found, so am I able to use an hx effects on bass?

Super easy, just make aure you have your cheat sheet and manual if you need to change anything.
