I’m a seasoned dangler, to the newbies watching, this guy pretty much nailed it, well explained and showed the bits needed well.

Thanks for sharing this very informative video to help get ppl into fishing that it doesn't have to be that expensive to start up to see if your going to like the fantastic sport. I love all kinds of angling over the years, but been sea fishing about 12 years and still love it, my gear isn't top end gear like anyone I would love to own a zipplex, century, zulcron rod but I can't afford anything like that, I have a 14' sonik vader paired up with an sks 8000 fixed spool for mainly clean benches and I have a Ron Thompson axellerator paired up with a Daiwa slosh 30 multi which I use on the rough ground marks, they didn't cost the earth but they do what I want them to do, I'm no big power caster but either over head thump or been doing the OTG to gain some distance on my casts. Thanks to yourself Andy and the rest of the sea angling adventures team for helping newbie anglers starting up and getting them catching some fish 👍🎣🎣🎣😊

Agree 100% with the Zulcron range, I won the XGT14 on their KZbin channel and I love using it, I then went and bought the Zulcron XT435 GT for the rough ground and that also is suberb 👍👍

Great video Andy. For those moaning about the price of gear etc, think yourself lucky. Try getting that gear in Australia, It’s a shocker the crap sold here.

Feel for you there mate, I know a lot of over seas anglers buying from uk. Must be costly

@@SEAANGLINGADVENTURES, Andy, once you’ve watched the Aussies running while casting, using fixed spools with handles on the right because that’s how they come out of the box, you know it’s going to be a challenge😂

AFAW match pro MK2 mid range? They are £400+ each!! I have a pair of them and are built just aswell as any other rod.. You and your mates did a feature on the mk1s and couldn't speak any higher of the brand.!!

I agree but at the time they were priced as mid range rods before we carried out the reviews. Shortly after the prices jumped up to century prices . In my opinion slightly over priced but still very good rods to get you out fishing
