I love this pattern, if you continued with the decrease rows could you make this into a full beanie hat? Also can you continue the alternating colour rows in the decrease rounds to the finish of the hat?

Really like your video however I really had a hard time figuring and finding out where the stitches on the top of the band were so that I could do the sc across. Do you have any suggestions that might make it easier?

I have 62 rows for the child hat but only need 42? Do I decrease instead? HELP!

If you are changing colors every row would it be OK to just carry the yarn up the inside instead of cutting every row?

When I try to follow your video on the start of each row (not changing colors) my rows keep increasing. I tried just going around without starting new row like you do, and I still increase a stitch at every room. I think I am driving myself crazy. I have love your pattern, but I must be doing something wrong.
