I finally got the hang of the strumming bit, 4 days trying after work and I've now got it and just did a very slow version of the whole song ❤ I'm so flipping happy ❤❤❤

I can't wait to try this. I'm glad I found your page. Your lessons are great and it's nice to see a woman teaching also since most of the teachers here are male. I learned Puff the magic dragon last week. This will be my new one if I can figure out how to sing with that strumming pattern. Not the easiest song to sing to for sure.

Awesome! I may implement the alternating my pick between my Thumb-Index if hybrid picking w/my fingers. To Thumb-Middle finger for a lighter flow strumming I’m practicing using my pick more, to be versatile. I fingerpick way too much.

Hi, Lauren . As ever , a great lesson . Because of my rubbish wrist joints , I have now taken to playing on a Spanish / Classical guitar as it seems to have a lower finger action which allows me to spend more time playing . Maybe I should trade in some of my steel strung guitars for one with a better action . Thanks again for being such a patient teacher . lol

@@henyo5409you’re intonation is likely bad because your bridge isn’t placed correctly, depending on what kind of guitar you have. Seek out your local music store (preferably not Guitar Center) and let them take a look at it before you take it upon yourself to make any adjustments to your bridge or your truss rod.
