If i use “alors que” does it mean “while” or “at the same time”? For example: je parle alors que tu mange

I have one confusion between et and est in writing they both are different but their pronounciation is completely different so how to identify what someone is saying?

The pronunciation is not the same. ET is a closer "e" sound than "est" with open "e", and in a sentence, "est" being a verb, will be used after the subject, whereas "et" is a linking word, so in context I don't think you will have a problem to differentiate the two!

Alors and donc sounds like the italians "quindi/allora" and "dunque", and in fact I don't find a particular way to use one more than the other, it's like used casually for me. Altought if it's like in italian, donc should be more formal-ish since it's used less, but I think it's subjective the use. P.S. I'm learning french connecting meaning and grammar to italian (mother-tongue) while the teacher speaks english, and as I'm learning this proves these lessons are very very good, awesome job!
