Whoa this location is as zen as can be. Wow at 3:04 saw that leaf fall from the tree. It's hard to believe there's no humans around there. Is there fish in the river? I imagine people would go fishing in the Douro. Careful in the first train station, those walls could come tumbling down at any time. The structure is probably not safe to be around. I see a lot of overgrown grass on the tracks. When it was operational, I wonder how they kept the grass and weeds from forming on the tracks. Seeing the gentle ripples of water on the river is very zen. I totally enjoyed the railway walk, well done. like 36

Hey there, my special friend! Thank you so much for this amazing comment. I can really feel you liked this walk very much. It was a very special one for me to record, I tell you... I really found such a strong frequency down there. And incredible beauty too. You're right: these abandoned stations can be a bit dangerous to be around! The grass and even trees really have grown in the 32 years since the line's closure... which makes all this very amazing, I should say. In my first walk (kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4CcXoKQe5Keqpo) there were even rocks fallen on the tracks. And a tunnel ;) in the old times, I suppose they kept the grass and weeds from growing with personnel that lived in the abandoned houses along the railway, like the one you can see starting at 35:40. And notice the washing trough right there, with an amazing view over the Douro river! Imagine washing your clothes there!! Wow 😊😊 See you soon, my friend!

I love your adventurous spirit my friend! This was a good continuation from part one of this experience :) the terrain here in addition to the overgrown abandoned tracks is amazing! I love the large green hills and the few clouds in the distance. The water below looks so calm and peaceful too. I enjoy the pauses you take and also the walking. As I got the chance to comment with you, these two walks in the abandoned railways were one of the best things I've ever did in life. I know this sounds maybe too much, but the connection I felt to myself and to nature while I was recording was just unbelievable and intense. No one around... just me and nature... and the lonely abandoned railway tracks. Something very special about all of it.
