But I also think Twilight princess has aged quite well especially in the animation. There is a lot of subtle animation that is very compelling and cinomatic even today and a lot of the epic moments like Link posing after the joust or the pyramid being destroyed by Midna still look really cool. I actually think the HD version looks worse as it has way too much bloom and it also destroys the art style of TP. TP did have a real art style where the low lighting conditions and detailed texture work hid a lot of the angular nature quite well. I think the one that has suffered the worse is Wolf-link's model which just look ugly in the HD version and loses all that made it so look in the original. TP HD also suffers from the standard problems that come when you put textures meant for 480p resolution into HD. I think Twilight Princess still looks really good today. The idea that it has aged poorly is largely due to the HD version which is just a sloppy job. Since TP was a late Gamecube release it was heavily optimized for that platform, way more than Windwaker was. With the Wii this wasn't an issue as the Wii is essentially 2,5 Gamecubes ducttaped together but with the Wii U this did present issues. I think Midna is still the most expressive character TLOZ has ever had as she uses a refined version of the animation technique of toon link. Wolf Link still looks really cool and is animated well and a lot of the subtle expressions and emotional moments still pack a punch. But it's done more due to the cinematography and the lighting. Though if I would want any TLOZ game to get a full remake it Twilight Princess. While I love that game there is still a lot of room for improvement like making the sidequests more worthwhile and adding more and maybe give Wolf Link more abilities. I would like more talking to animals. The story could use some improvement too like more about the fused shadows and giving a higher sense of stake at the second half. I know I am in the minority here but the search for the light bugs is actually one of my favourite parts of Twilight Princess. It's exploring a new enviroment often with very compelling cutscene's and a real sense of stakes.

The way his model works is that he has a base model that looks like a buzz cut and the rest is the no clothes model. The hair is a different model, likely to not interfere with the hats, and clothes are completely separate. I believe the model shown in this video is the model used in the memory cutscenes.

Also the skyward sword link model has much rounder and smoother shapes ccompared to TP's link model, despite it having less details. The more rounder and smoother the shapes are to make the models, the more polygons it will take. I'm surprised the creator of this video/series hasn't notice this as yet.

Ocarina of Time Young Link tried his best to match his artwork at the time but his model lacks his shoulder belt, has wide clothes, poofy hair, lack of sideburns and hair color being almost orange. Meanwhile, Majora's Mask Young Link looks just like his *actual* artwork of the game. He has his belt over his shoulder, his clothes are less wide, his tunic collar has been reworked, and his hair looks more on par to his concept art, being less poofy, more evenly split and having a lighter shade of yellow/orange.

botw link is a bit hard on poly count I think.... This is his basic champions tunic/hylian trousers look. But with all the clothing choices and differences (mostly hair) there are, I think multiple poly counts for multiple tunics. Awsome vid.
