Link pixel art but 8 years later (animation)

8 years ago, I was just starting out in pixel art. Crazy it's been that long.
I didn't know any animation principles, and I think I was still animating in Photoshop (yuck).
Since then, I've learned a lot, I've done hundreds of more animations, and I've studied the art of smooth movements. Possibly the title of a future book.
And so here's my attempt at the same animation 8 years later, with all that I've learned.

@@RobinsonPixels ay I appreciate it man. Yeah I think it definitely falls under the category of "anticipation" as a sub-technique (so nothing ragingly new here), but it feels like a nice little thing nonetheless.

So. I recorded the audio here without the time-lapse in front of me, and I won't be doing that again. There's a lot of unfocused waffling/rambling because of the fact, which is probably annoying - my bad. Next time I'll have the video in front of me so that the commentary is more relevant to what's happening on screen.
