Did you create UKVI online account? If yes then it’s very simple. Then simplly Log in to your UKVI account. It will ask you for the documents you used to create the account; use those details to log in successfully. Once logged in, go to your Personal Details section and scroll down. There, you will see an option to Add a New Identity Document. Select the appropriate option based on the document you want to add and follow the instructions accordingly.

All BRP holders passport details are already linked with evisa. You need to link your passport only when you are issued a fresh passport from Indian embassy after renewal.
