I was always of the opinion that between all the Riders out there in Marvel, Johnny was the Most Dangerous one. Carter Slade had a Moral Compass(kill only the truly guilty), Danny Ketch had a mission(Avenge those who hurt his family) and Robbie was pure Revenge(Kill the Gang that killed his little brother). Johnny Blaze was just a man who was looking for a Reason to have faith again(especially after Mephistos deal went sour)....

Gotta say how I like how the design for that Yokai that looks like Sailor Venus goes a bit more beyond looking typical stylized and, when you think about that design pressed against the more "realistic" looking people, it does come off really terrifying. Can you just imagine seeing a photo-realistic Sailor Scout design, big eyes and all? That would look terrifying pressed against a normal looking human.

Sometimes I feel that a lot of stuff Spawn tries to do most Ghost Rider runs do better. Good ending bumper, really creepy!

Issue 34 of this run would have been a good pick too, the reintroduction of The Highwayman (or at least a version of him) into the Marvel Universe. Regardless, I'm just happy to see more of my favourite hero on this show.

Can Marvel not just kill a one off like this? I mean, she's a demon, so that means killing her just sends her back into the pit where she'll crawl out again, but it takes the Princes of Hell 'centuries' to do that...though they like to cheat and use stuff to speed that up. I don't think she has an army of loyal...ish minions though.

There was a tie-in to World War Hulk for him. EDIT: I remembered the details wrong, so editing it. Johnny Blaze goes to fight the Hulk with himself in the driver's seat, but, ultimately the Hulk knocks him down until the spirit of vengeance takes over... and drives away from the fight. Ghost Rider only avenges the innocent, whereas the Illuminati are all guilty.

On the one hand the Sailor Moon-parody really feels tremendously grotesque (complimentary) and a good design, but one part of me can't help but feel like it's... main-streamy? Like there is so much worse anime designs out there that could have been used. But sometimes you just have to realize you're in too deep when you think stuff like that and need to rise up to touch some grass, Sailor Moon is what most westerners would know especially of this time, so it's fine, it's mainstream but fine. Also has the skin-peeler ever returned? Because I feel like with an artist that'd be more used or involved in anime tropes, you could do some REALLY nasty stuff with it. Visions of it reforming people or legions into gacha-girl parodies, swarming a whole city like exceptionally shiny-skinned samey-faced girls, dancing in the corners of my eyes...
