Blackout is so "teasing/playful" in the beginning. So many sounds, and it feels hard to predict what is going to happen. When BAM it hits you hard, and it's almost a shock. And then it has the nerve to keep surprising! When listening to the whole album, it seems like we move on to a different song, but no, it's still Blackout playing. Chester's vocals are so raw and emotional, absolutely love it! And Mike's vocals are so soft and pleasant, a needed break after what Chester delivers. It works so well together. On the album it absolutely works as part of a whole! You really need to listen to the whole album in one go, no breaks, no reaction, just close your eyes and let it take you on an amazing audio journey.

Yeah, love that effect before Chester starts singing. It's a reverse reverb. Instead of reverbing after a sound like normal, the time is reversed and a backwards reverb fades in before the actual sound
