@@Boogerslov And with how Animus sounds, it was the right fit for him. While Andy is a phenomenal vocalist, Chester is impossible to replace. Andy also somewhat is like Chester in some regard with his vocal versatility. Do you think Mike could go through losing someone else if it were to happen? I think Linkin Park needs to rest with Chester, at least IMHO. If Mike wants to revive it, I think he's gotta be the main vocalist and form LP how he feels is best. If he wants to recruit someone new, cool. But I feel a lot of people would feel bad about that considering Chester was a huge factor in Linkin Park's success, along with Shinoda. Losing him was a big loss. And I feel like if they were going to make a comeback, it would have to be with Mike as the main vocalist. He's under-rated as a vocalist in his own right and I think if he took the spotlight, it would be amazing in its own regard. But I digress. Andy is doing a great thing with Monuments, and I don't think that he needs to join Linkin Park. It's the same thing with another vocalist by the name of Mark Martel who sounds dead-on to Freddie Mercury. It actually pained them to listen to his performances when he recorded for the Bohemian Rhapsody movie because he sounded so much like him. It was like listening to a friend come back to life. After all the grief and strife of his death. I don't think they could really for the faint of heart bring him on to their band. Which is why I think Queen did a good thing in bringing on someone different. Freddie Mercury even said once "You can do whatever you want to my image, my music, remix it, re-release it, whatever. Just never make me boring". Which Adam Lambert certainly is not. TL;DR: Andy is good in Monuments. Linkin Park needs to rest and take a long hiatus like Queen, if they decide to bring someone new on.
