my son is mildly verbal autistic. he sang this melody (I've never heard him hear that song) searched for the song on google and played the song on KZbin. he had a difficult day full of stress. he played the song at least 10 times before going to sleep. he was standing in the middle of the room looking into the spotlight and nodding lightly. as if he connected with that song. he doesn't understand English. it was emotional to watch 😢

The world is a darker place without you CB. You touched the hearts of so many and chose to use your fame to tell people things like, 'If you see someone fall, pick them up.' Words to live by. You made your pain into beauty, into a balm that healed others. I can't wait to hear what you are producing in the life beyond.

The pain when you have lost someone you really love, a break up, the pain you're stuck with the rest of your life hurts and the struggle of life continues without them beside you, not being able to breathe without them by your side, irregular heart beats and pain, the fact that they left me and I never intended to leave them, but this is life unfortunately and I have to live this pain. These songs at least understand what I am going through and people around me don't.

He was abused by someone he knew, someone who should have known not to touch a kid. There is more to the story. His abuser should burn in hell. When I heard the song lost, even though it was written in 2002, it is for today 20 years later. His song is his story, it reeks of pain & damage..he claims it cant be repaired and it never leaves him. Unfortunately for some its true…I know of one, they wake up & fight in their sleep….30 years later.
