Breaking Benjamin is mostly alt metal, but plenty of people say they are hard rock as well and Three Days Grace is definitely hard rock and a few of their songs have screams. I never got to see this band. My dad was going to buy me tickets one year for my birthday, but he was on SSI so I didn't want him to spend that much money. I hate that I never got to see them before Chester died. I still haven't seen them, but maybe one day.

When I was 14 my dad gave me two important things: this album and a walkman CD player to listen to it on. When my mom would lock me out, or scream at me, or get me in a stranglehold on the wall, I really felt like Chester got me in a way no other human possibly could (in these comment sections alone, though, I've found others that get it too). This song in particular resonated with me in those times, those days, those moments, and it's still oddly cathartic in that way decades later. (I ended up living with my dad fulltime along with my brother a couple years later which ended up being a great benefit, it wasn't all bad) sorry for the blogment, I just have deep feelings about this song/album
