Hi Linna, your dinner was so creative as usual. My Autumn here has been up and down. It was in the 80's last week and now it's in the 50's and then going into the 60's! It's crazy. Hope the boys had a nice Halloween. ❤

Your meals look beautiful and delicious! Thank you for sharing your life with us. I’m from the USA and the cost of your groceries are surprisingly inexpensive to me. I would also spend a fortune at the stationery stores in Japan - too many wonderful items. ❤️

Sorry lte again, had a busy week and now the flu is going around the house so I've been so busy😅 finally found time in the early morning before anyone wakes up. Vietnamese fried lumpia's are a very common street food here :) But I never seen them steamed. love to try it one day. As you did in the Korean super market, I always do in the Japanese supermarket here; buy a lot hahaha I can easily buy for 150 euro's. It's fun to see how others make their okonomiyaki. As I cannot get yamaimo I use yamaimo powder if I have it on hand. And I use some miso in the batter. also put in vegetables like carrots, onion and green onion. And always pork as a topping and if I can the thinly sliced mochi. Even the okonomiyaki sauce I cannot easily get so I make one myself. It probably doesn't taste like the bottled sauce but everyone likes it and I can add things like garlic.
@LinnainJapan11 ай бұрын
You can make OKONOMIYAKI sauce too ?! I am surprised!!! You are really a good cook 👍👍👍

Hi Linna those spooky cob webs on some of your dinner food is cute. Loved the Halloween music too. Do children go trick or treating in Japan? Dress up in costumes and go door to door getting candy? This video was fun!
@LinnainJapan11 ай бұрын
Unfortunately no. Usually party held indoor within the members themselves. Treat or track at neighborhood is not common 😅

Oh the spooky pancakes looked so cute 👻 I think your husband really liked the Korean store 😂 Your Korean dinner looked delicious 😋 I watch some Korean camping and the fish cakes on skewers is very popular. I seen one drink the rice wine that’s carbonated forgot she got that kind and shook it. It fizzed out on her 😆 They also like to do soju and beer mixed together so you might like to try that sometime 😊 Love your videos Linna they make me happy ❤
Frixion is my favorite! I have pens in all my favorite colors. Yay Frixion!!

Our Korean grocery store is called H Mart. I can get everything except the rice wine...have not seen it yet. Cannot wait to try it. Those fish cakes on the skewers are....better cooked in the tebekkoti sauce. I wnat a Loft Store and Flying Tiger Store.

Another fun & spooky video! I had to chuckle when you went shopping with your husband. When I go shopping with my husband, we always end up buying more than planned! 😂. All your boys are so lucky to have such a fun creative mama! We had trunk or treat at our church last night. My sister, our friend & I were the 3 blind mice. It was so fun! There were 12 cars that the kids could go to, and then there were bouncy houses & crafts inside. So fun! It was very cold though. It was 35 degrees F and we had some snow today! So fun! Thanks for sharing Linna. Happy Autumn Days to you! ❤️

Just looking at the restaurants you toured around at the beginning reminds me why I LOVE Asian food. So many different flavors all in one dish. I like all styles for different reasons. Bought too much? You normally go shopping by yourself and do well. Maybe your husband is a somewhat bad influence in that regard. Or perhaps, new store, new things....OOH SHINY!! Who knows, everything looked good though. Wish I had a Korean store near me. Wish I had a lot of things near me actually. >.> Edit: And, as always, your videos are so relaxing to watch. I have only spent 7 days in Japan, would like to spend more if I ever get the chance.
